Co-curricular activities

LGS Multan strives to promote healthy physical activity and looks upon sports as a means of enabling students to acquire stamina, discipline and determination. The children train for Gymnastics and Taekwondo along with football, cricket, badminton, table tennis and basket ball.
Students are encouraged to participate in inter-class debates, speech competitions, spelling bees, reading and poetry recitation contests, multimedia presentations and project work, thus providing each and every student the opportunity to explore his/her potential and optimize his/her individual strength.
In an effort to broaden the students’ horizons, they are sent on field trips to various sites of national importance such as Harrappa, Fort Derawer, Lal Sohanara National Park, Noor Mahal, Taunsa Barrage, Head Sindhnai etc. Senior students also go on longer trips to Islamabad and further north to Balakot and Kalabagh.
Students organize bake sales and charity drives for SOS Village Multan and Shaukat Khanum Hospital. They also contribute generously towards flood relief efforts.
Every year students take part in the Kangaroo Mathematics Contest and Dawn Spelling Bee and have distinguished themselves at both events on multiple occasions. The LUMS PsiFi and Model UN are two other events that students take a keen interest and participate in.
