I offer my sincerest felicitation to all those who assisted in bringing the Lahore Grammar College project to fruition. This would not have been possible without  a common and joint effort on the part of an inspired faculty and administration.

History

The Lahore Grammar College was established in 1997 by the Directors of the Lahore Grammar School (Pvt.) Ltd. Lahore Grammar College is affiliated with the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) . It offers courses for FA(Humanities), F Sc (Pre Medical and Pre Engineering) and Computer Science.

Philosophy

The Lahore Grammar College aims at preparing students holistically as individuals and responsible citizens through a challenging academic environment, supplemented by a healthy program of sports related activities. Co curricular activities expand student participation into areas such as  performance arts, debate and literary activities. LGC encourages its students to develop a meaningful relationship to life long learning while expanding existing syllabi taught at the intermediate and graduation levels to enable students to benefit from disciplined study.

LGC is committed to helping its students discover and develop their potential with the support of an experienced and qualified faculty bank.
Smaller classes and a healthy student- faculty ratio allows for greater interactivity, participation and a one-on-one approach which allows for individually paced growth.  LGC makes every effort to ensure that its students are well integrated and enjoy the benefits of small group teaching in an atmosphere of academic distinction.

At LGC, close student – faculty contact is maintained to realize ideal academic goals. Individual academic support is readily available to help students facing difficulties. All students receive guidance and their progress is carefully monitored by tutorial heads as well as the administration.
Meetings with parents are a regular feature as LGC strongly believes in transparency and respects the right of parents to be active partners in their child’s academic progress.

The LGC Student Council

Training in leadership roles is encouraged through open elections to the Student Council. The LGC Council comprises of the Head Girl, and student representatives from each of the four year  of college as well as representatives for  Literary,  Community Services, Sports and other activities.
The College offers sports, arts, dramatics and debates while educational and recreational trips are planned on a regular basis.
